No survey of retail ATM transaction counts by venue type exists. Every published range traces back to a company that sells ATMs, and those skew high. Treat the shaded band on the chart as a starting point, not a forecast, and put your own count in if you have one.

The cost lines are firmer, but not uniform

Hardware prices, wireless service, receipt paper and the prime rate are real published figures. Armored carrier pricing, vault cash spreads and service call rates are quote only across the whole industry, which is why this page either sources them or leaves them at zero for you to fill in rather than guessing.
