Why smoke shops do well with an ATM

02Merchant loaded
We supply and support the machine, you load it with your own cash. Because your money is doing the work, the surcharge split moves in your favor, typically 50/50 or a base amount per transaction. Withdrawn funds are redeposited to your account within 48 hours.
03Buy your own
Own the ATM outright, keep the whole surcharge and use our processing with no contract. Processing is free once the machine does 300 or more transactions a month, which is ordinary volume for a busy store. We ship in five to ten business days with express shipping and lift gate included, and every machine carries a parts warranty.

How much does an ATM cost a smoke shop owner?
Nothing under our free placement program. We buy the machine, install it, load the cash and service it. You provide a power outlet and about three square feet of floor space. If you want to own the machine, a new Genmega G2500 is about $2,370, and processing is free once it does 300 or more transactions a month.
How much can a smoke shop make from an ATM?
It depends on foot traffic. As a rough example, a machine doing 300 withdrawals a month at a $3.25 surcharge brings in close to $1,000 a month in surcharge. Under free placement you receive a share of that, subject to volume. If you own the machine you keep all of it.
Do I have to load the cash myself?
Not under full service placement. We load and monitor the cash. If you prefer to load your own cash under the merchant loaded program, the surcharge split moves in your favor.
How long does installation take?
Once we agree on a plan, a machine is usually installed and live within a couple of weeks. Installation itself takes a few hours. We bolt the machine down and program it on site.
Is there a contract?
Placement agreements set out the surcharge share and the service we provide. If you buy your own machine there is no contract for processing.
