For one of the standalone ATMs that we offer here, prices will vary from $2,000-$2,800 for the basic setup depending on the make and model you go with. Prices are updated regularly, so these prices may fluctuate monthly. For the most accurate quote, please contact us via our contact form, phone, or email.

The basic ATM setup includes:

⚡️ Pre-programming
⚡️Free transaction processing
⚡️ A 1,000-note, removable cash cassette
⚡️ An electronic lock
⚡️ An EMV card reader

Luckily, if you buy your ATM from a reputable company, (like us) we will have our own certified technician to walk you through the installation process. They will also train you and employees on how to use the machine, telling you everything you need to know about taking care of an ATMer

Yes, all ATMs we sell come with express shipping and lift-gate service at no additional charge. Many of our competitors do not include shipping in the price, and fewer still help you with getting the machine loaded off the truck.

We tend to recommend ATM purchases for smaller, ‘mom-and-pop’ type businesses. These are locations that could still benefit from an ATM being installed, but don’t necessarily qualify for one of our free-ATM placement programs due to lower foot-traffic.

If you do operate a busy and/or high-traffic business and are considering purchasing an ATM to own and operate yourself, be forewarned that keeping up with maintaining the machine may become very laborious, given how regularly it might require cash loading. For this reason, many of the larger businesses we work with prefer the Free ATM placement option or the 50-50 deal, but the choice is yours.

All ATMs come with a one-year manufacturer’s parts warranty, except for GenMega ATMs which come with a two-year warranty. If a part ever breaks or needs replacing, you can ship the part back to the manufacturer and they will send you a replacement part at no cost.

It is extremely rare to run into issues with a new machine. However, in the event that this does occur you can contact us through our 24/7 hotline and explain the issue you’re running into, including any error codes on the machine. We may be able to fix the issue over the phone by walking you through the steps. If the problem is more severe, then a technician will need to be dispatched to address the issue. All parts are covered for one year, however, in some cases, the technician service fees may not be covered under the warranty.

California Merchant Solutions handles all of the programming and configuration for the ATM before it is shipped, so that the hard work is all completed before it arrives. However, for the ATM to be fully installed, it will need to be securely bolted and anchored to the floor. In the past CMS would include installation with all ATM purchases, adding in the cost associated with having our technician install the machine in the final price. After receiving continuous requests from customers to ‘opt-out’ of the install and do it themselves, however, we decided to lower the cost and leave the install up to the customer.

We provide a comprehensive ATM cash loading guide for our customers, which explains everything you’ll need to know about how to operate and replenish cash for the machine. If you still run into trouble, you can simply call our support hotline while you’re on-site with the ATM and a technician can walk you through every step of the process including replenishing your cash and navigating the user menus. This training is provided as a courtesy at no additional cost.

We collect something called interchange, which is an agreement between us and the banks wherein we collect about 10 cents per transaction at the back end that is paid by neither you nor your customers. You will still enjoy 100% of the surcharge revenue.

When you purchase the ATM yourself, you keep 100% of the surcharge fee paid by ATM users, and you can set the fee to whatever you would like. To estimate what your monthly generated revenue might be, there are two factors that need to be considered:

1️⃣ What the ATM surcharge fee has been set at.

2️⃣ How many customers will use the ATM every month.

So if you set a surcharge fee to $3.25 (which is typical for the hotel and lodging industry) and process 300 transactions per month, then you would generate around $1,000 per month in surcharge revenue.

Many locations recuperate their costs and begin seeing returns on their investment about three to six months after installing their machine.

You will need to have your own router for the ATM if you don’t have a dedicated phone line or Ethernet capabilities. We will discuss more information if you’re interested.

Yes you can, and California Merchant Solution will do the processing for free. However, in order to process with us your ATM must follow the guidelines:

1️⃣ It must be EMV compatible.

2️⃣ Its software must be up-to-date.

3️⃣ You must have the master password for the ATM machine (To check if the password you have is the master one, try logging in with it and act as if you are going to change your password. If you’re unable to access changing the master password, then you do not have it and need to obtain it before processing with us).

No, unfortunately not. Depending on location, there are either contracts, surcharge fees, or both. Canada has free processing with a contract. The U.S. Territories have both a contract and a small amount of the surcharge taken from each transaction. These are non-negotiable.

You will have access to daily reporting and be able to see transaction histories and current updates on your ATM.

Yes! We have a guide you can purchase by clicking here.

The one thing you will need is a standard electrical outlet.
